Pejuta Tipi Society Origins

Like a corn seed, the Pejuta Tipi Society began through the thoughts and prayers of students to bring a sense of spiritual security, home, and comfort through annual peyote ceremonies sponsored by the Pejuta Tipi Society with support from the Ute Mountain tribal community, the Native American Center and Fort Lewis College. PTS is here to ensure balance, harmony, spirituality, and education for students while they pursue a postsecondary degree at our beloved institution, Fort Lewis College. |
