Mission Statement

To recognize and promote academic achievement and superior scholastic ability among undergraduate Native American students at Fort Lewis College.

Develop programs that will enable members to participate in a variety of activities, all devoted to the promotion of academic excellence among all Native American students on the Fort Lewis College campus.
Recognize those professors who have excelled in the ability to present, teach, and guide students to learn and research within any given field offered at Fort Lewis College.
Promote the continuation of study within any given field by providing information about the many different facets and complexities and opportunities for advanced study within any given field.
Sponsor seminars, conferences, discussion groups, and tutoring and other public relations in the arena of improving academic success for all Native Americans, and to promote such other extracurricular and curricular activities as will serve to increase knowledge of the importance of higher education among Native Americans and awareness of current educational and employment issues affecting Native Americans.
